Course Commentary

For years Ravisloe was a private country club on Chicago's southside. Surrounded by big name private clubs such as Olympia Fields and Flossmoor, Ravisloe couldn't compete and turned public in the early 2000s. Today it stands as the best public option for golf in Chicagoland. The Donald Ross design offers affordable rates, an easy walk and brilliant architecture. The course has a quirky routing that includes back to back par 5's and par 3's on the front nine and a spectacular back nine that takes advantage of the course's best property. The stretch of 11-16 is among the best in the area and is a must stop for anyone looking for a place to play in Chicago.
