Paulie's Picks: The Tour Championship

Here we are...the last week of the 2015-2016 season. I'm looking forward to seeing 30 of the best golfers in the world battle it out for wheelbarrows full of money. With a limited field this week, the scoring/standings will be condensed on DraftKings. One pick may make the difference between a great week and a terrible week. With that being said, here are some guys to focus on.

Jordan Spieth - $10,600

Spieth may be a bit under-owned this week as compared to other studs due to his lack of stellar play as of late. However, Jordan is one of the most clutch players out there, and I look for him to turn it on this week and contend for the FedEx Cup. In the last 3 years, he has a victory and a runner up finish. East Lake fits Jordan’s game as it requires precise irons and an ability to scramble and grind on the 6 footers all day. This week for Spieth reminds me of Patrick Reed before the first playoff event. Spieth has had 4 straight top 21 finishes but just hasn't had his A game shine through. Look for that to change this week.

Paul Casey - $9,500

With runner up finishes in the last two playoff events, Casey is playing some of the best golf of his life. In his last two appearances at East Lake, he has recorded top 5 finishes. Those two facts alone are enough for me to roster him.

Daniel Berger - $7,000 & Bubba Watson - $8,400

Two words: Ryder Cup. Both of these guys are vying for that final spot on the Ryder Cup team which will be announced Sunday evening. I would not be surprised to see one of them shine this week and make Captain Love’s decision a bit easier. Also, with no cut this week, you ideally want guys who make a ton of birdies in your lineup. Berger and Watson are the near the top on birdies in 2016.
