Life as an amateur just got a little better
The USGA made a big announcement about the Walker Cup, the biennial amateur event that pits the best Americans against the best of Great Britain & Ireland at a couple of primo sites. 2021’s matches will be hosted in Juno Beach, FL at the exclusive Donald Ross masterpiece Seminole, while the 2025 clash will be held at arguably the world’s greatest golf course, Alister Mackenzie’s Cypress Point Club. These sites are quite the haul and will make the world’s best amateurs think twice before turning professional.
