Mac Daddy Santa

With Christmas on Sunday, there will be no newsletter on Monday. Check out the website as we will continue to post fresh blogs throughout the weekend. Happy Holidays to all and thank you for the continued support.

There is a new contender for the most memorable moment of the year as Tiger unveiled one of his holiday traditions. I still haven’t quite formed what my opinion of his “Mac Daddy Santa” is, but it’s somewhere between frightened and ashamed. One of the beauties of social media is the ability to be connected to stars lives...this is perhaps too connected.

While Tiger’s Mac Daddy Santa is quite the memory, ballots are closed as we continue our countdown of the five most memorable moments of 2016. At number 4 we have a sad moment, the chunked wedge shot by Jordan Spieth at the 12th during the final round of the 2016 Masters. I don’t remember a time where I was so shocked by a shot and outcome. All came unraveled for the usually steady Spieth as he was seemingly in control of the tournament and on his way to winning his second straight green jacket. While Spieth was able to rebound and win again on the PGA Tour, his game never seemed quite right for the rest of the year, and he wasn't a serious contender in any of the remaining majors. Hopefully, 2017 will see a refreshed Spieth who climbs his way back to the top of the golf world.
